Administrative Coordinator (Part-Time)

Mission Liberty Hill Lutheran Church (LCMS) is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and ministry-minded Administrative Coordinator to support the daily operations of our growing congregation. This position plays a vital role in helping our church communicate effectively, remain organized, and support the ministries of the congregation.

Position Summary

The Administrative Coordinator manages the day-to-day administrative functions of the church office while providing support to the Pastor, church leadership, ministry teams, and congregation. This position oversees office operations, church communications, scheduling, records management, digital platforms, and administrative support for worship and ministry activities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage church office operations and administrative systems.

  • Maintain church membership records and official church documents using Breeze Church Management Software.

  • Coordinate church calendars, facility scheduling, and event registrations.

  • Prepare weekly worship materials, including bulletins, inserts, worship slides, and online resources.

  • Create and distribute weekly newsletters, prayer lists, and other church communications.

  • Maintain the church website and social media platforms.

  • Upload sermons, podcasts, and online worship resources.

  • Provide administrative support to the Pastor, Board of Directors, and congregational meetings.

  • Assist with volunteer onboarding and background checks.

  • Support basic bookkeeping tasks, invoices, and financial record organization.

  • Order office supplies and coordinate with vendors as needed.

  • Help ensure the church office and meeting spaces remain organized and welcoming.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be highly organized with strong attention to detail.

  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Be proficient with computers and willing to learn church-specific software.

  • Be able to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Work well independently while collaborating with staff and volunteers.

  • Have experience with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; experience with church management software is a plus.

  • Be supportive of the mission and ministry of Mission Liberty Hill Lutheran Church.

Position Details

  • Position: Part-Time Administrative Coordinator (25 hours/week)

  • Location: Mission Liberty Hill Lutheran Church, Liberty Hill, Texas

  • Schedule: Flexible weekday office hours (with occasional evening meetings and special events as needed)

  • Compensation: Based on qualifications and experience.
