Hope House Announces Grand Opening Celebration of the Rathgeber Community: A New Model of Disability Care
\n\nHope House is proud to announce the grand opening of the \;Rathgeber Community\, a groundbreaking addition to the landscape of disability care. The celebration will take place on \;
\n\nThe Rathgeber Community is home to \;two newly built Hope Houses \;that together will serve \;16 children living with profound disabilities. Unlike traditional group home models\, this innovative approach creates a \;smaller family-style environment \;where each home includes only \;four residents. Every child will also have their \;own private bedroom\, offering dignity\, stability\, and a true sense of belonging.
\n\n&ldquo\;This is more than pretty homes\, it&rsquo\;s a reimagining of what it means to provide care\,&rdquo\; says Dave Gould\, Executive Director of Hope House. &ldquo\;Every child deserves not just a place to live\, but a place to call home. The Rathgeber Community is a step toward that vision.&rdquo\;
\n\nThe grand opening ceremony will \;include \;remarks from our Hope House team and building partners\, a ribbon-cutting\, and guided tours of the new homes. \;Guests will see firsthand how this new model prioritizes both individual dignity \;and \;community connection \;for children with profound disabilities.
